Plant Warranty

100% Plant Warranty:

Must Have Original Receipt for ALL Returns & Your Account Must Be In Good Standing.

In-store credit will be given on returned plant(s) that are covered by the warranty. Credit will not be issued for any planting charges. No cash refunds.

Warranty includes plants purchased at regular price only. No warranty will be extended on sale items.

Plants eligible for warranty are covered for a period of one (1) year from date of installation by Farrell’s Lawn & Garden unless noted otherwise. Customer’s account must be in good standing before any type of warranty will be extended.

We guarantee plants to be true to name and free from insects and diseases at the time of purchase. Farrell’s Lawn & Garden cannot be held responsible for plants which become infested with insects or disease after the plant leaves our facility. It is the responsibility of the owner to watch for these problems and take appropriate measures as needed.

We are not obligated to replace any plants due to loss of time in planting, lack of time in watering, abnormal weather conditions, vandalism, theft, fire, animal damage, winter injury, or late spring frost. Salt damage to plant by winterization methods or rodent damage shall void the guarantee. Plants damaged by the acts of nature, such as tornados, lightning, winds or flooding are not warranted.

It is the owner’s responsibility to provide sufficient watering, adequate drainage, insect and disease treatments, mulching and a weed free environment for the continuous vigor of the plants.

Plants must be totally dead in our judgment. Some plants lose their leaves and still recover. The cultural practices of planting and watering must be used by the customer. Warranty is void if watering and other sound practices are not followed.

Plants will be warranted only one time. Customer will be responsible for the planting charge in effect at the time of replacement. After one time replacement, this warranty is void due to possible soil toxicity or other environmental factors that we have no control over. Customer is responsible for delivery and/or planting charges.

SOD: Sod is not guaranteed. FLG will apply the first watering after installation. Sod must be watered daily until the roots are established to insure healthiness and livability.

SEEDED LAWN: Guaranteed in that bare areas where the grass seed does not germinate may be re -seeded after inspection by FLG for the cost of labor to re-seed. Seeded lawns are not guaranteed for weed germination. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide care of their lawn as outlined in the General Watering Instructions (attached). Washouts on newly seeded lawns due to heavy rain or natural disasters is not the responsibility of FLG.

TREE/SHRUB PLANTING: Every property will be OUPS located by Farrell’s Lawn and Garden Center. Farrell’s Lawn and Garden Center will not be held responsible for privately and/or customer installed sewer, plumbing, or power lines not marked by OUPS locators.

Return Policy

We will gladly accept a return on any non-plant merchandise with an original receipt within a period of 30 days for a store credit, however all holiday merchandise must be returned before the appropriate holiday (Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc.)

Sorry, but we are not able to accept returns on sales items, layaways, or special orders.
